M8 Accident: A tragic fiery crash inside Sydney’s M8 Tunnel has claimed the life of a driver after a vehicle slammed into a wall and burst into flames in the westbound lanes near St Peters.

Emergency services, including Fire and Rescue NSW crews, rushed to the scene following reports of the serious crash inside the tunnel. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the intense blaze, but sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene before emergency personnel could provide assistance.

Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.
