Scott Hall Baraboo, WI Obituary Death: Baraboo, WI Community Mourns the Passing of Beloved Music Lover and Family Man

It is with deep sadness that family and friends announce the passing of Scott Hall, age 70, of Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by loved ones. His passing marks the loss of a devoted partner, proud father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend whose warmth and personality touched countless lives.

Born on January 26, 1956, Scott was the son of Kenneth and Virginia Hall. He grew up in the Sauk Prairie and Baraboo area and graduated from Sauk City High School in 1974. Dedicated and hardworking, Scott began his career as a Mechanical Apprentice in 1979 and later became a Wisconsin Certified Industrial Electrician. Throughout his professional life, he earned certifications in PLC operation, boiler maintenance, and forklift instruction before retiring in 2013 after many successful years in the industry.

Scott was known for embracing life’s simple joys. He loved hosting Hall family gatherings, annual campouts, and his famous “Cheap Sunglasses” parties inspired by the iconic ZZ Top song. A passionate music lover, Scott treasured live concerts, his vinyl record collection, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers every football season.

He is survived by his loving soulmate Kathy Wilson; sons Gabriel (Susan) and Shane (Laura); five beloved grandchildren; siblings Harlan “Skip” Hall and Kathryn Stumpf; and many relatives and lifelong friends. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, sister Barbara Moody, brother-in-law Marlen Moody, and nephew Kevin Grauvogl.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hall family to assist with funeral arrangements and memorial expenses.
