275 Accident Right Now: All lanes of I-275 EB reopen near Five Mile Road after vehicle fire

275 Accident Right Now ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio :  All lanes of eastbound Interstate 275 near Five Mile Road in Anderson Township, Ohio, have reopened after a vehicle fire caused significant traffic delays and forced officials to temporarily shut down the highway.

According to a statement shared on Anderson Township’s official Facebook page, the closure was caused by a tanker truck fire along I-275 EB. Emergency crews quickly responded to the scene and worked to contain the flames before the fire could spread beyond the truck cab.

Authorities confirmed the fire was successfully extinguished and remained isolated to the cab portion of the tanker truck. Officials also stated that the tanker itself was not impacted by the fire, preventing a potentially more dangerous situation involving hazardous materials or fuel exposure.

Emergency responders monitored the area closely following the incident and assured residents there was no threat to air quality in the surrounding community. Drivers experienced delays while crews worked to clear the scene and ensure the roadway was safe for travel.

Traffic has since returned to normal after all eastbound lanes were reopened. Authorities praised first responders for their quick actions in preventing the situation from escalating further.

Motorists traveling through the area are still encouraged to remain cautious and alert for any residual slowdowns as traffic continues moving normally through Anderson Township.
