Elizabeth Clarke faithfully served at Mary Queen Parish in Houston for two years as a Houston Echo Apprentice while earning her Master of Arts in Theology through the Echo Program at Notre Dame. As part of the McGrath Institute for Church Life, the Echo Program prepares young adults for professional ministry and leadership within the Church — a mission Elizabeth embraced wholeheartedly through her devotion, humility, and servant’s heart.
Known for her kindness, intelligence, and unwavering faith, Elizabeth inspired countless individuals through her ministry and dedication to helping others grow spiritually. She later earned her Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame and went on to serve within the Office of the Vice President for the University, where her leadership and compassion left a lasting impact on colleagues and students alike.
As tributes continue to pour in, many are remembering Elizabeth for the grace, warmth, and encouragement she shared throughout her life. Her legacy of faith, education, and ministry will continue to inspire future generations within the Church community.
The Echo community will gather virtually for a rosary and celebration of life prayer service on Friday, May 15, at 2:00 PM CDT to pray for the repose of her soul and honor her memory. Funeral arrangements and additional memorial details will be announced by the family at a later date.
