Jessica peacefully passed away on May 12, 2026, leaving behind a family, friends, and a community that will forever be touched by her presence.
Born in 2009, Jessica was a shining light in the lives of everyone she touched. Her bright smile, infectious laughter, and kind heart made her a beloved member of her school community. Jessica is survived by her loving parents, John and Maria Garza; her younger brother, Michael; and her grandparents, who will cherish the memories of her sparkling eyes and irrepressible spirit. Her family and friends will greatly miss her presence in their lives.

Funeral Arrangements and Memorial Service
A funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, May 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will follow the service, and friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories and stories of Jessica. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Fort Sam Houston Independent School District’s Arts Program, which Jessica loved and supported.
