The devastating collision occurred shortly after 5 a.m. near Andrews, South Carolina, when a 2003 Ford Expedition driven by 37-year-old Taran “Tar” Nolan of Mission Viejo, California, traveled westbound in the eastbound lanes of the divided highway. Nolan’s vehicle collided head-on with a 2010 Cadillac Escalade driven by Glendora Holmes, resulting in the deaths of Holmes and young Micki Nolan. Taran Nolan and two of her other children suffered critical injuries in the crash.
As the case continues through the South Carolina court system, questions remain regarding liability, insurance coverage, and roadway safety conditions.
